MOORHEAD — St. John's earned a narrow 1-0 victory over Concordia in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer Wednesday at Jake Christiansen Athletic Complex.
Tyson Aberle and Sam Gess each had a shot on goal for the Cobbers. Concordia goalie Keith Sullivan tallied five saves.
Matt Anderson netted the game's lone goal at the 3 minutes, 39 seconds mark for the Johnnies (4-1, 1-0 MIAC). It was only the second goal the Cobbers have allowed this season.
Concordia (4-1, 0-1) is scheduled to face Bethel at 1 p.m. in Arden Hills, Minn.
