SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - North Dakota State exploded for 22 runs in two games to sweep a college softball doubleheader from Oakland on Friday.
Katie Tamayo batted 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs as the Bison (17-21, 7-4 Summit) won the first game 10-2.
In the nightcap, Jamie Gay hit her second home run of the season and Tamayo picked up the win in relief during NDSU's 12-5 victory.
