MINNETONKA, Minn. — The No. 2 seed Minnesota State Moorhead women's tennis team notched a 4-0 shutout win against No. 7 seed Bemidji State in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tournament quarterfinals Saturday at Lifetime Fitness.

Olivia Keelin earned a 6-0, 7-5 victory over Breanna Walsh, while Jalyn Kornblum defeated Hannah Peterson 6-1, 6-2 in singles matches for the Dragons.

Julia Geske and Keelin topped Zoe Lindgren and Hannah Alme 6-1 in No. 1 doubles. The duo of Alexis Konecne and Emma Wood also secured the team point for MSUM, shutting out Brooke Mimmack and Walsh 6-0 in doubles No. 3.

MSUM led at No. 1, 2 and 4 singles, but the matches were unfinished due to the Dragons clinching the overall match victory.

MSUM (15-3) advances to face No. 6 seed Sioux Falls at 8 a.m. Sunday morning. With a win over Sioux Falls, the Dragons would advance to the title match to be played at noon Sunday.
