What is the significance of this playoff run to this point for you and the program?

I think this season has kind of been a culmination of a lot of the work we have put in the last eight years. As far as recruiting goes and as far as training our players from the time they are freshman to seniors. And just making sure the environment is a really supportive environment for our players to grow.

What's been the most rewarding part of this entire season?

Probably the most rewarding part is just the makeup of the team. The team chemistry and the support system within the team is better than I've seen in all my years. We've always had good supportive teams, but this teams stands above them.

What does this success mean for this program moving forward?

I don't know if it changes expectations from the coaching staff. We've been building up to this point and we've had teams good enough to get to this point. We just haven't been able to get over that hurdle. ... I think the exciting thing is just to see how we match up against some of these teams. To see what level are we to some of them. I feel like we are right there. I think the girls, if they play well, we can keep our run going. So hopefully that's the case.
