GRAND FORKS — With only 20 seconds remaining in the Class B girls basketball championship game, Kindred was down one point and searching for a shot.

Freshman Tina Freier had seen the previous season end on a buzzer beater in the first round of the tournament.

She was determined not to let that pain happen again.

The ball met her at the top of the key and she released a dagger of a three to put Kindred up by two.

Her Vikings held on to win the title and it's a shot that will go down in history.

Kindred's Tina Freier's great game-winner is the play of the week.
