MOORHEAD-Minnesota State Moorhead senior Brian Huber will compete in the long jump at the United States Track and Field Outdoor Championships on Sunday at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. It will be Huber's first time of competing at the event.

Huber will begin competition in the event at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday.

The Staples, Minn., native won the NCAA Division II long jump national championship on May 25 in Charlotte, N.C. He recorded a school record jump of 26 feet, 2¼ inches to win the event. That jump is 14th best out of the entries for the USATF Championships.
