FARGO — Keith Lehman has been named the head girls track and field coach at Fargo North High School, replacing Talia Butery who stepped down from her head coaching duties earlier this fall.

Lehman is a graduate of Fargo North and North Dakota State. Lehman, in his fourth year as a mathematics teacher at Fargo North, has been an assistant coach with North’s track and field programs and boys cross country program.

Activities Coordinator Travis Christensen had the following to say with regards to Lehman:

“Keith is respected by students and his peers, which was evidenced by him being recognized as the 2020 Fargo North teacher of the year,” Christensen said. “I am excited for him to have this opportunity to grow in his ability to lead our student athletes and our coaching staff.”
