GRAND FORKS — The North Dakota State women's track and field team won multiple events Saturday at the UND Open at High Performance Center.
The Bison women tallied 111.5 points as a team to finish first.
Payton Frolek won the 600-meters title with a personal-best time of 1 minutes, 32.77 seconds. Ashley Schug won the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.62 seconds. Nell Graham claimed the top spot in the 400 at 57.43. Katie Bye ran away with the 800 title with a mark of 2:16.29. Jennie Barager-Petrash won the 3,000 in 9:36.83. Bailey Cowling cleared 5 feet, 5 1/2 inches in the high jump to take the top spot.
On the men's side, NDSU finished as the top team with 127 points.
Alex Talley posted a personal-record mark of 67-4 3/4 to win the shot put. Cody Roder won the 400 with a time of 47.78 and Jacob Rodin claimed the 800 title in 1:51.20. Josh Samyn ran a personal-best 4:12.98 in the mile for a first-place finish. Trevor Otterdahl won the weight throw with a toss of 68-1 3/4 and Alex Brosseau earned first in the 200 at 22.08.
