MANKATO, Minn. — Senior Rachel Schumacher's runner-up finish in the high jump led the way for the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's track and field team on the final day of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Championships on Saturday at the Myers Fieldhouse in Mankato, Minn.
MSUM finished with 21 points at the meet, which was won by Minnesota State-Mankato. The Dragon men finished third during Friday's competition.
Schumacher finished second in the high jump with a jump of 5 feet, 5-3/4 inches. She now has four All-NSIC honors in the high jump in her career with three coming at Minnesota State Mankato prior to her transferring to MSUM.
Junior Sophia Sowada took fourth in the pentathlon with 3,300 points. She had the best time in the pentathlon 800 and was second in the pentathlon high jump at 5-4 3/4.
