ALLENDALE, Mich. — Minnesota State Moorhead senior Chris Cook notched the fourth All-American honor of his Dragons career, tying for seventh place in the high jump Friday at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Cook cleared 6 feet, 6 3/4 inches initially, before surpassing 6-8 3/4 on his third attempt. The decorated senior has now earned three All-American first-team honors and one second-team honor in the high jump.

The meet was also the last for longtime Dragons assistant and MSUM Athletics Hall-of-Famer Dave Bergstrom, who is retiring. Bergstrom coaches the Dragons high jumpers.
