FARGO — Fargo Davies head girls track coach Rory Beil has been named the head coach of the Eagles boys track program, the school announced in a press release. He will continue to coach the girls team.

Beil has been coaching track and field for 27 years and has been at the helm for the Eagles girls team for the last eight years. He was on the coaching staffs of Iowa State for two years and Concordia for two years. Beil is also the health promotion director for Clay County Public Health.

Beil-coached teams have won eight state titles, including four consecutive Davies championship teams from 2016-2019. He has won state coach of the year three times.

"I am ecstatic for the opportunity to help lead the Davies’ boys on the track and in the field and am confident our staff will help create the environment for the boys and the girls to grow and succeed," Beil said in the release.
