NDSU track claims multiple titles at UND Indoor Tune-Up

GRAND FORKS — The North Dakota State track and field teams won several events at the University of North Dakota Indoor Tune-Up on Saturday.

Trevor Otterdahl of the Bison men's team improved his national rank to No. 36 when he won the weight throw with a mark of 65 feet, 7 1/2 inches.

Bison men took the top four places in the mile. Connor Schank claimed first place with a personal-best time of 4 minutes, 18.42 seconds.

For the women's team, Rhaeghn Gripentrog, from Wahpeton, N.D., won the 60-meter dash with a personal best of 7.71 seconds. Maddy Nilles upped her weight throw school record 7 inches to 71-4.25 to win the event.
