FARGO — Tri-City stormed back in the third period to clinch a 3-2 win over the Fargo Force on Friday in United States Hockey League action before 4,659 fans at Scheels Arena.
The Force (15-19-4) held a 2-0 lead entering the third period. Trevor Griebel scored his second goal this season to put Fargo up 1-0 4 minutes, 25 seconds into the second period. Just under three minutes later, JP Turner buried his fourth of the year to give the Force a 2-0 advantage.
German Yavash assisted Griebel, while Tanner Walos and Joe Palodichuck had the helpers for Turner's strike.
Mitchell Miller scored twice in the third period for Tri-City (30-5-2), including the game-winner with 15 seconds left in the game.
Force goalie Matej Marinov recorded 32 saves. Tri-City held a 35-23 advantage in shots on goal.

The teams are set to square off in the two-game series finale at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at Scheels Arena.
