West Fargo 67, Moorhead 29

MOORHEAD — The Packers cruised to a nonconference win over the Spuds in West Fargo’s season-opener.

West Fargo rose to 1-0 overall, while the Spuds fell to 1-2.

Fargo Davies 52, Fargo Shanley 47

FARGO — The Eagles notched a season-opening victory over Shanley in Eastern Dakota Conference action.

Ashton Safranski stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with 17 points, nine rebounds and seven steals. Marissa Burian scored 10 points and Karley Franks had nine points, four rebounds and three steals.

Mesiku Hakim recorded nine points and eight rebounds to pace the Deacons. Brynn McNeally had eight points, and Emily Srejma tallied seven points and 15 rebounds.

Davies rose to 1-0 both overall and in the EDC. Shanley fell to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the EDC.

Fargo South 63, GF Central 54

GRAND FORKS — South took down Grand Forks Central in EDC action.

Adie Wagner scored 22 points to lead the Bruins. Brynn Nelson followed with 17 points and Teigan Malo poured in 14.

Lauren Reardon scored 16 points to pace GFC and Ashley Gereau added 14.


South rose to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the EDC. The Knights dropped to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

WF Sheyenne 80, Wahpeton 78

WEST FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne edged Wahpeton in the Mustangs’ EDC-opener.

Maya Metcalf paced Sheyenne with 20 points, tacking on seven rebounds and three blocks. Alivia Manson poured in 17 points and Peyton Breidenbach tallied 15 points and eight rebounds. Karson Sanders added nine points and six boards.

Aiyana Allard dropped 23 points to lead Wahpeton. Scout Woods finished with 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals. McKena Koolmo had 13 points and six rebounds.

Sheyenne rose to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the EDC. Wahpeton fell to 0-1 both overall and in the conference.

Ada-Borup 54, Park Christian 53

MOORHEAD — Ada-Borup used a balanced attack to edge Moorhead Park Christian on Tuesday night.

Seven Ada-Borup players scored, led by Dyllan Miller and Morgan Smart with 10 points apiece. Kayliana Dahl and Kaya Lee both scored nine points.

Park Christian’s Libbert Suckert scored 15 points and Avery Aakre scored 14. Annika Johnson added seven points.


Park Christian is now 0-3 overall while Ada-Borup improved to 1-2 overall.
