Two Bison named to all-academic team

North Dakota State wide receiver Kole Heckendorf and running back Tyler Roehl were among 43 players selected to the 11th annual Football Championship Subdivision Academic All-Star team on Friday.

North Dakota State wide receiver Kole Heckendorf and running back Tyler Roehl were among 43 players selected to the 11th annual Football Championship Subdivision Academic All-Star team on Friday.

The team is selected by FCS athletic directors. Roehl carries a 3.38 grade point average in physical education. Heckendorf has a 3.82 in physical education.
