GRAND FORKS, N.D. - University of North Dakota football player Ryan Chappell has not met NCAA academic eligibility requirements and has been ruled ineligible for the 2008 season, the school announced Tuesday.
Chappell rushed for a team-high 1,640 yards last season as a sophomore.
