Through his Twitter account, goaltender Aaron Dell has announced that he's returning to UND for his junior year.
"Just want to let all of you Sioux fans know that I am completely committed to returning for my junior year. Can't wait."
There was speculation that he could turn pro after Alberta goalie coach David Marcoux, who has worked with Dell, posted on Twitter that the Montreal Canadiens have offered Dell a two-year contract. Dell didn't immediately address the offer, just saying that he would return.
Dell had an outstanding sophomore season, earning first-team all-WCHA honors and second-team All-American honors. He led the country in goals-against average, wins and shutouts.
