The Fighting Hawks junior scored his 10th goal of the season and helped will his teammates across the finish line to get a series victory.

The Fighting Hawks and Beavers have traditionally played down-to-the-wire games. They'll face off in a two-game set this weekend.
The blue liner buried a point shot against the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday night.

The Fighting Hawks are set to have Thanksgiving dinner as a team a day earlier than the holiday itself.
The Anchorage native is the son of former Hobey Baker Award finalist Brian Swanson.
RedHawks defenseman Jack Clement scored with 5:26 to go in the third period to help Miami to a split.

Gaber wins shootout

Riese Gaber won the weekly team shootout competition for the first time this season. At the end of UND's skate in Bemidji's Sanford Center, Gaber outlasted Nick Portz, Carson Albrecht, Judd Caulfield and Gavin Hain. Outside of the goalies, there has yet to be a repeat winner this season. Shootout winners so far: Gavin Hain (Week 1), Ryan Sidorski (Week 2), Griffin Ness (Week 3), goalies (Week 4), Tyler Kleven (Week 5), Louis Jamernik V (Week 6), Jackson Blake (Week 7), goalies (Week 8) and Gaber (Week 9).

Toews notches 500th assist

Former UND forward Jonathan Toews reached another milestone in his NHL career. Toews tallied his 500th assist for the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night against the Dallas Stars.

JBD out a month

Former UND defenseman Jacob Bernard-Docker, who had just started playing regularly for the Ottawa Senators, will be out for a month with a high ankle sprain according to the Ottawa Sun. Bernard-Docker has played six games for Ottawa this season.

Blake named NCHC rookie of week

UND forward Jackson Blake is the NCHC's rookie of the week. Blake scored three goals and tallied four points during UND's split against Miami. Blake played on the top line alongside Jake Schmaltz and Riese Gaber.

Schmaltz returns for Arizona

Former UND center Nick Schmaltz returned to the lineup for the Arizona Coyotes on Monday night. He had not played since Arizona's season-opening game Oct. 13, because of an injury. Schmaltz played 18:56 against Nashville. He registered five shots on goal, but didn't tally any points.

Jost headed to Buffalo

Former UND center Tyson Jost is on the move. The Minnesota Wild put Jost on waivers and he was picked up by the Buffalo Sabres. Jost, 24, has played 352 NHL games for the Colorado Avalanche and the Wild. Jost was traded to the Wild last season.

Strinden scored his first collegiate goal, while Caulfield scored for the third time in four games.
The Hockey Hall of Famer got the crowd going during his pregame shift and his old team scored seven times to earn an NCHC win.
The Hockey Hall of Famer says 1987 was one of his most memorable years.
The former UND great will be recognized before Friday's game in Ralph Engelstad Arena.
