SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Owen Gallatin and Aaron Huglen scored second-period goals and Brennan Boynton stopped 33 shots as the Fargo Force defeated Sioux City 2-0 on Sunday at the Tyson Events Center.
Gallatin scored in the first minute of the second on an assist from Huglen, who then made it 2-0 with a goal at 7:20 of the second on an assist from Jacob Braccini.
Western Conference-leading Fargo bumped its lead over Omaha to seven points. The Force and Musketeers play again at 7:05 p.m. Friday, March 19, at the Scheels Arena in Fargo.
