USHL hockey: Force drop another one-goal game to Musketeers

Chase Bradley's two third-period goals were the difference as Fargo dropped a second-straight 3-2 game Saturday.

FARGO — Chase Bradley scored two third-period goals but for the second night in a row the Fargo Force dropped a 3-2 decision to the Sioux City Musketeers at Scheels Arena on Saturday .

Sioux City's Gabe Blanchard scored a second period goal and Bradley scored at 7:13 of the third for a 2-0 lead. Fargo's Mason Salquist broke the shutout with a goal at 17:41 of the third on assists from Bear Hughes and Tristan Broz.

But Bradley iced the game with an empty net goal at 19:51. Fargo's Ryan Richardson scored on an assist from Michael Suda with one second left in the game.

The Force peppered Musketeers goalie Akira Schmid, who made 42 saves. Force goalie Brennan Boynton stopped 16 of 18 shots.
