FARGO — Fargo goalie Matej Marinov pitched a shut out and Cole Knuble scored two goals as the Force defeated Tri-City 4-0 on Friday to earn a split of a two-game series with the Storm at Scheels Arena.
The Force rebounded from Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Storm.
Knuble scored on the power play at 10:16 of the first period on assists from Joe Palodichuk and Bret Link. Knuble scored his eighth of the season unassisted 59 seconds into the second period.
The Force's J.P. Turner scored at 9:02 of the third period on assists from Tanner Walos and German Yavash. Anthony Menghini made it 4-0 with an unassisted short-handed goal at 10:40 of the third.
Marinov stopped 21 shots. The Force outshot the Storm 35-21.

The Force are off until the start of a three-game weekend at Des Moines at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11. Fargo plays two games at Omaha on Saturday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 13.
