North Dakota State's 42-match Summit League volleyball regular-season winning streak was snapped Friday, as the Bison lost to Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne 24-26, 16-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-11.
The loss snaps a 42-match Summit League winning streak for the Bison (8-7, 5-1).
"(The streak) was something that was nice for people to talk about. We didn't talk about it much," North Dakota State coach Erich Hinterstocker said. "Another team played better than we did and earned its right to a victory."
"A lot of it was our own doing. We really played tentative offensively, especially the left end. We made a lot of unforced errors."
