GRAND FORKS, N.D.-Fargo North earned a 25-18, 25-22, 17-25, 25-21 victory over Grand Forks Red River on Thursday in North Dakota Class A volleyball.

Braylee Hansen led North with 25 digs, while Rose Soori tallied 10 kills. Karlie Goschen paced the Spartans with 21 assists.

North improved to 4-4 overall, while Red River fell to 2-7 overall.

Fargo South 3, Wahpeton 0

WAHPETON, N.D.-Fargo South defeated Wahpeton 25-11 25-23 25-15 Thursday in girls volleyball.

South's Mackenzie Walz led in kills with seven. Emily Jackson was the assists leader with 14. Allie Rheault paced the Bruins with 12 digs.

South improved to 3-5 overall, while Wahpeton fell to 1-8 overall.

Fargo Shanley 3, West Fargo 1

FARGO-Shanley defeated West Fargo 19:25, 25-17, 21-25, 14-25 in girls volleyball on Thursday.

Reile Payne and Grace Meier led the team with 15 and 14 kills, respectively. Jordyn Stroup ended the match with 43 assists. Olivia Manuel had 14 digs against West Fargo.

Shanley improved to 6-3 overall and West Fargo fell to 3-5 overall.

West Fargo Sheyenne 3, Valley City 1

WEST FARGO-West Fargo defeated Valley City 26-24, 25-16, 19-25, 25-22 in girls volleyball on Thursday.

Jadyn Feist was the dig leader with 28 and also had 18 kills for West Fargo.

Grace Scherr had 30 digs against West Fargo and Cali Halgrimson had 15 kills.

West Fargo improved to 5-3 overall, tying with Valley City at 5-3 overall.

Fargo Oak Grove 3, Lisbon 0

LISBON, N.D.-Oak Grove defeated Lisbon 25-14, 25-16, 25-18 in girls volleyball on Thursday.

Jaycie Gunderson paced the Grovers with 11 kills. Amanda Roller was the digs leader with 30.

Kelyn Johnson and Lauren Forness led Oak Grove with 1 block each. Johnson and Kara Berg had a team-high two aces a piece for the Grovers. Berg also had 21 assists.
