Dragons volleyball ends Augustana tournament on high note

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-The Minnesota State Moorhead volleyball team took care of Black Hills State in four sets on Saturday in their final showing at the Augustana tournament.

The Dragons won 28-26, 26-28, 25-19, 25-13.

Kaylyn Jenkins led the way with 14 kills for the Dragons, and Lauren Kiewiet supplied 24 assists and a pair of aces.

Black Hills State's Jessy Hibl came away with 17 digs, and Madison Hoopman had 12 kills.

The victory ended a three-match losing streak for the Dragons, who now sit at 4-3 overall on the season. They open NSIC conference play against Minot State Thursday night in Moorhead.
