But we know we can't rest on what we have accomplished in the past. Early on the focus will be on serve receive in order to make our offense productive. Considering we open up the season with some tough competition, playing No. 2 North Branch and No. 4 Champlin Park in the first few weeks, the bar is set high once again. This should help us find out exactly how we stack up in the state right away."

This year, we will only have two seniors on the roster, but a lot of very athletic and competitive juniors and sophomores. Our biggest challenged will be in the serve and pass aspect, but they have a great desire to improve. Because of our quickness, we need to focus on an up-tempo style. For us to be competitive in the upper echelon of the EDC, we need to push ourselves every day in practice. It's not how we start, it's how we finish."
