MOORHEAD — Concordia hosted a pair of volleyball matches Saturday and fell 3-0 to Augsburg and 3-1 to St. Mary's at Memorial Auditorium.
In the first match, a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference bout, Augsburg took the sets 25-13, 27-25, 25-19. Bailey Gronner and Brook Carney each had seven kills to pace the Cobbers. Anna Brakke tallied six kills. Jill Klaphake and Lexi Turn recorded 13 and 12 assists, respectively, and Chloe Markovic had 11 digs.
In the second game, St. Mary's downed Concordia 25-21, 25-15, 21-25, 25-15. Mariah Ahrndt and Kendra Wiggs each recorded nine kills to lead Concordia. Turn tallied 17 assists and Markovic posted 15 digs.
The Cobbers (0-4, 0-2 MIAC) are scheduled to next play at Hamline Thursday, April 8.
