West Fargo 3, Fargo Shanley 2

WEST FARGO — The Packers rallied from a set down with a dominant fourth set and closed out the Deacons in five, 25-18, 23-25, 17-25, 25-12, 15-11, on Thursday.

West Fargo’s Nadia Chwialkowski put up big numbers, with 32 kills and only six errors in 76 attacks for a .342 hitting percentage. Mary Schnell finished with 12 kills and Chloe Pfau had nine.

Olivia Soine had 51 set assists and 14 digs for the Packers. Raina Chwialkowski had 24 digs, Schnell had 21 and Alexus Olson had three solo blocks.

Paige McAllister led Shanley with 16 kills, Ricki George had 13 and Shayna Roach had nine. Olivia Vetter surpassed 2,000 career set assists with 35 against the Packers. Hannah Hoedl had 39 digs, surpassing 1,000 for her career.

Fargo Davies 3, Fargo North 1

FARGO — Davies continued its strong start to the season with a four-set win over Fargo North 30-28, 25-17, 20-25, 26-24.

Ava Wild’s 11 kills led the Eagles, while Taylor Safranski tallied 19 assists and five aces. Camille Deringer posted 10 kills, with Kaia Davison anchoring the defense with a team-high 17 digs.

Davies rose to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in the EDC, while North dropped to 6-2 overall and 1-1 in the EDC.

West Fargo Sheyenne 3, Grand Forks Red River 0

WEST FARGO — Sheyenne cruised to a 25-14, 25-12, 25-19 sweep over Grand Forks Red River in EDC action.

Kailee Waasdorp posted 12 kills and 16 digs for the Mustangs. Khloe Brown had 10 kills and seven blocks. Brooke Johnson tallied 15 assists and two aces, while Reagan Bogenreif added eight kills. Kennedy Colter chipped in 13 assists and Mia Engel totaled 10 digs and two aces.

Hannah Litzinger’s five kills and five aces paced Red River.

Sheyenne rose to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in the EDC. Red River dropped to 1-7 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Champlin Park 3, Moorhead 0

CHAMPLIN PARK, Minn. — Champlin Park rolled to a 25-15, 25-16, 25-14 Minnesota volleyball win over Moorhead.

Champlin Park improved to 3-0 overall, while the Spuds fell to 0-3.

Fargo Oak Grove 3, Sargent County 1

FARGO — Oak Grove posted a 25-11, 18-25, 25-16, 25-16 win over Sargent County in Class B action.

Sophie Pundsack had 10 kills and three blocks for the Grovers. Sydney Stenhaus recorded 10 kills of her own and Paightyn Downs had three aces. Ella Olson added eight kills and two aces. Isabel Anderson anchored the defense with 17 digs and Downs added 12. Claire Peterson tallied 20 assists.

Frazee 3, Moorhead Park Christian 1

FRAZEE, Minn. — Frazee came back to down Park Christian 18-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-22.

Kirby Baasch had eight kills to lead Park Christian. Mia Metzger and Kendra Loeb each tallied four aces and Belle Suckert posted two blocks. Loeb led the team with 11 assists and Avery Aakre had 24 digs.

Frazee moved to 1-0 overall, while Park Christian fell to 0-2.
