FARGO — Denver notched a 25-21, 25-20, 25-16 sweep over North Dakota State on Thursday in Summit League volleyball before 696 fans at Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse.

Syra Tanchin led the balanced Bison attack with nine kills. Ali Hinze followed with eight kills and Allison Scheiwiller had six kills. Taylor Quan finished with three aces and Michelle Glover totaled six blocks. Kelley Johnson posted 19 assists and Kaylee Hanger anchored NDSU's defense with 14 digs. Hanger surpassed 1,000 career digs in the match.

Lydia Bartalo, Tina Boe and Erica Andrich each had eight kills to pace Denver (13-2, 4-1 Summit).

The Bison (8-10, 2-4 Summit) are scheduled to be back in action Saturday morning, as NDSU hosts Summit League foe Omaha at 11 a.m.
