Wahpeton eliminated at D-II Central Plains Regional

MILBANK, S.D. – Wahpeton dropped two straight games Friday to get eliminated from the American Legion Division II Central Plains Regional baseball tournament.

Wahpeton lost 5-0 to Waupun, Wis., before losing its second game 7-4 to Las Vegas.

Brock Lingen allowed one earned run in seven innings for Wahpeton in its first game.

Tyler Gripentrog went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Wahpeton in its second game.
