CHICAGO-Wahpeton senior Tylee Irwin has been named Gatorade girls basketball player of the year for North Dakota.
The 6-foot forward was also named North Dakota Miss Basketball last weekend. Irwin helped lead the Huskies to the Class A tournament, averaging 24.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2 steals and 1.5 assists per game.
Irwin, who has committed to South Dakota State, scored 2,192 points during her prep career.
