FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Clay Hathaway led off the ninth inning with a single and later scored on an infield ground ball to lead Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne past North Dakota State 4-3 in Summit League baseball on Sunday.
The win helped the Mastodons avoid a four-game weekend sweep.
Nick Anderson batted 2-for-3 for the Bison.
