FARGO -- A week before the games that count begin, North Dakota State men's basketball cruised in the second half to beat Minot State in an exhibition game, 85-54.. Rocky Kreuser led the Bison with 22 points, while Grant Nelson put up 12 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Andrew Morgan had a promising debut, putting up 10 points.
The University of North Dakota survived a scare from Mayville State, winning 68-64. Mitchell Sueker led the Fighting Hawks with 28 points to push past the Comets.
With the playoffs rolling through, performances are ramping up in high school football. It means the Honor Roll has plenty of eye-popping stat lines, including one from a contender for game of the year in Minnesota.
