When college football seasons wind down, emotions start building up. Many seniors know it's their last chance to savor moments with their team.
North Dakota State experiences that Saturday against South Dakota, when 11 seniors will step on the field for Senior Day. Players like Brayden Thomas and Cordell Volson have exhausted their eligibility, while others like Christian Watson are ready to move forward. Whatever the case may be, the emotions will be felt throughout the Fargodome on Saturday.
Those players will still have a chance at another game. The University of North Dakota doesn't know that for sure. On Saturday, the Fighting Hawks have one final chance, however slim it may be, to gain a massive resume win on the road against South Dakota State. UND needs the win over the Jackrabbits to have a shot at the bubble discussion, something head coach Bubba Schweigert knows but isn't letting absorb the team's attention yet.
