It's a new year, but same story for FCS playoff foes who have to play North Dakota State.

If you want to advance, you'll have to go through Fargo. For the ninth time since 2011, the Bison will have home field advantage through the semifinals. Only one team has ever come to the Fargodome and knocked off NDSU in the postseason in the last decade, James Madison in 2016.

The University of North Dakota parted ways with volleyball coach Jeremiah Tiffin on Monday. Tiffin was placed on administrative leave in October. Fighting Hawk athletic director Bill Chaves said in a statement, "I felt this was the right time to make a leadership change in our volleyball program. We wish Jeremiah the best in the future."

UND finished 1-29 this season.
