North Dakota State's game against Southern Illinois was never in doubt, a 38-7 blowout in the second round of the FCS playoffs.

But one question was brought of the game: when will Christian Watson return? The senior wide receiver missed a game for the first time since 2018 after injury his hamstring during practice.

Head coach Matt Entz says Watson is a game time decision ahead of the Bison's quarterfinal matchup against East Tennessee State.

West Fargo's Miriley Simon tallied a first on Sunday. The Packer junior forward became Jory Collins' first commit from the Fargo-West Fargo area with her commitment to the Bison.
