Just 24 hours before signing day, only five scholarship players remain on North Dakota State's women's basketball roster.

Henning native Ellie Dague has entered the transfer portal. Dague did not play this entire season, recovering from a knee injury she suffered last summer. Dague scored over 2,200 points for the Hornets leading them to the state tournament in 2019 and 2020.

WDAY Sports Director Dom Izzo spoke with Ellie's father, Chris, who said she had a great connection with assistant coach Sandra Abston. Abston took a job with Kansas City on Monday.

Gabrielle Robinson Forde also entered the portal, making it seven Bison players who will not return next season.

The University of North Dakota men's basketball is getting yet another Bismarck prospect. Century junior Ryan Erikson, who was offered by Paul Sather over the weekend, announced he's committing to the Fighting Hawks.
