FARGO-- For the first time since 2016, Indiana State will pay a visit to the Fargo Dome this weekend. This will also be the Sycamore's first game against the Bison since 2017. Indiana State is 4-4 on the year, coming off a win against Youngstown State. Even though the starting quarterback is the hot topic for the Bison this week, a big message emphasized on Monday is a fresh start at practice. Head Coach Matt Entz says that his defense had an average practice on Thursday before the Missouri State game. He hopes some of the measure's he took to change that show come Saturday.
"We actually dressed out and had helmets on on Friday to try and rectify a little bit, or to gain some people's attention. I think it worked, but again like I said, I think if you want to start fast, you need to start fast on Monday. It can't wait until Thursday," said Entz.
After starting his NAHL season in Minot with 14-points in 14-games, East Grand Forks native Jaksen Panzer has decided he will be returning to the Green Wave hockey team for his junior season. The UND commit is coming off a sophomore year that included six goals just in the post-season and a state tournament appearance. Panzer has 45 goals and 32 assists in two years with EGF.
