FARGO --The Fargo Force open the Clark Cup Finals Friday in Chicago with a shutout win over the Steel in Game 1.

The Force get goals from Matt Crasa and Aaron Huglen in the game. Brennan Boynton misses his second consecutive game due to suspension, but Andrew Miller put on another stellar performance with 26 saves.

The North Dakota State Bison are adding depth to the cornerback position. Friday, Austin Peay transfer Elijah Culp announced he is transferring to NDSU. Culp played eight games as a true freshman in the fall and spring seasons. He will have four years of eligibility remaining.

Concordia softball made its first-ever MIAC semifinals appearance Friday. A tie game in extras, the Cobbers weren't able to pull out the win against St. Olaf. They will face Bethel Saturday in an elimination game.
