Grand Forks Central and Fargo North boys basketball keep their seasons alive by winning in Thursday's consolation semifinals bracket.
FARGO— For the third straight season, Grafton advances to the Class B Girls State Semifinals, defeating Kenmare 59-34 on Thursday. The second seeded Spoilers coming alive in the second half after only being up two at halftime. South Dakota commit, Walker Demers led all players with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Grafton will face Langdon Area-Edmore-Munich in Friday's semifinals. The third seeded Cardinals defeating Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood in Thursday's quarterfinals 59-21. L-E-M was led by Jaya Henderson, who led all players with 24 points.
Fargo North keeps its boys basketball season alive in the EDC Tournament, the Spartans defeating South, while Grand Forks Central defeats Red River in the consolation semifinals.
Several Bison players earn end of the year Summit League Honors, including Kacie Borowicz, Melissa Leet, and Paul Bruns for UND.
