WATCH: Minnetonka scores four unanswered to down Spuds boys hockey

MINNETONKA, Minn. — Moorhead scored first but gave up four answered goals across three periods and lost 5-2 to Minnetonka on Saturday in high school boys hockey.

The Spuds took the early lead on an unassisted Isaac Henkemeyer-Howe goal just 50 seconds after the puck dropped. Minnetonka knotted it up two minutes later off a Teddy Lagerback goal.

The Skippers took a 2-1 lead into the third, and put the game away with back-to-back goals in the middle of the period by Mason Hendrickson and Mack Motzko. Henkemeyer-Howe netted his second goal in the final period.

The Spuds moved to 4-3 on the season and travel to Greenway High School on Friday, Dec. 21.
