A chance for a big upset for North Dakota State was spoiled by a cold shooting night in Nebraska.
NDSU shot just 34 percent and turned the ball over 17 times, en route to an 80-55 loss on the road at Creighton. Dezmond McKinney put up a career-high 13 points, while Rocky Kreuser scored 12. The Bison trailed by just eight points at halftime, but made just 7-31 shots in the second half, while the Blue Jays went 16-30 in the same stretch.
It's opening week for Class B girls basketball, and Central Cass came out of the gates firing on Tuesday. The Squirrels cruised past Enderlin, 67-14. Jaylin Cotton scored 13 points on the night, and forward Kailey McKinnon followed up with 12.
