FARGO-- In his first career start at quarterback for NDSU, Quincy Patterson went 12-16 passing. with 115 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions..

A majority of Saturday's offense came from the Bison's 289-yards on the ground. Head Coach Matt Entz says it wasn't all bad from the Virginia Tech transfer., but now it's about fine tuning.

Coming into Idaho State on Saturday., UND had three losses to the Bengals since 2015. including a 55-20 blow-out in 2019.


Eighth ranked North Dakota came together on Saturday for the 35-14 win. A big part of that success coming on the defensive end. UND caused havoc on the Bengals passing game., holding Idaho State to only 229 passing yards. and intercepting three passes., while 20 of UND points were scored off turnovers.
