North Dakota State basketball has secured its coaches futures, and did so quietly over the past two years.

Both Bison men's coach David Richman and women's coach Jory Collins received contract extensions over the last two years, though neither were announced publicly by the school.

Both are five year extensions, with Richman's lasting through the 2024-2025 season and Collins into 2025-2026.

The start to 2022 for North Dakota hockey can be categorized as unexpected. A couple of losses to start the new calendar year out, followed by its first midseason COVID outbreak since the start of the pandemic.

Now with a week to refocus, UND is hoping the week off gives them a chance to dial back in.
