FARGO — The wait for Christian Watson to get back on the field is coming to an end.
After missing North Dakota State's three postseason games because of a hamstring injury, the senior wide receiver is likely to return to the field for the FCS Championship game against Montana State.
It will also mark the end of Watson's career at NDSU, with his sights set on turning pro.
North Dakota hockey got out to a 3-1 lead against Cornell before collapsing in the third period, surrendering three unanswered goals en route to a 4-3 loss.
