FARGO — Wayne Werremeyer, who was named the interim head coach for the Fargo Davies High School football team last fall, has been named the school’s head coach.
Prior to the role of interim coach, Werremeyer was an assistant coach at Davies for seven years. Prior to Davies, he served as an assistant coach at Fargo Shanley, Fargo South and Moorhead.
Werremeyer, a graduate of Dickinson (N.D.) High School and the University of Jamestown, teaches at Davies and assists with the wrestling and track programs. Werremeyer has a masters degree from the University of Mary-Bismarck.
