NORTH ST. PAUL - West Fargo won its season opener before losing two straight at the North St. Paul softball tournament Saturday.

Brittany Rheault tossed a complete game, striking out 11 and giving up one unearned run as the Packers defeated Totino-Grace 7-1.

Maddy Nelson went 2-for-2 for West Fargo in a 7-3 loss to North St. Paul.

In the Packers' final game in the tournament, Rheault struck out nine in a complete-game 4-0 loss to Rice Lake (Wis.).
