West Fargo junior Kacie Johnson has been named Gatorade North Dakota Softball Player of the Year, the Gatorade Company announced Wednesday.
Johnson recently led the Packers (30-2) to a 13th consecutive state title. She posted a 19-1 pitching record with a 1.10 ERA and 141 strikeouts. Johnson had four no-hitters and one perfect game. She also batted .547 with five home runs, 13 doubles, 42 runs and 40 RBIs.
