FARGO — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks are hosting a "One Community One Team" fireworks celebration on Friday, May 29, the American Association baseball club announced Tuesday.
The RedHawks are entering their 25th season, which was supposed to start Tuesday, but was postponed until early July due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"The idea behind 'One Community One Team' is something we thought of because this is our community and we are all on the same team, working together and staying said," RedHawks general manager Matt Rau said in a news release.
The drive-in fireworks show is free to the public at Newman Outdoor Field. Fans are invited to watch the fireworks from inside their vehicles in the parking lots around Newman Outdoor Field.
Newman Outdoor Field will continue to be closed to the public for the event with no food or beverages being sold or delivered to the parking lots. Restrooms will also not be available.
