MOORHEAD - Hailey Wixo of Moorhead and Ashley Bentz of Elgin, N.D., have signed letters of intent to play basketball at Minnesota State Moorhead.
Wixo, a 5-foot-5 guard, finished with 603 career points, 44 3-pointers, 195 assists and 141 steals at Moorhead. She also had single-game highs of 27 points, five 3-pointers, 10 steals and seven assists.
Bentz, a 5-9 guard who was a Miss Basketball finalist at Grant County High School, averaged 20.2 points and 9.3 rebound. The three-time all-state selection ended up with 2,035 career points and 960 rebounds.
