Women's hockey: Boston U. comes back to split with Sioux women

GRAND FORKS - A day after pulling off one of the program's landmark victories, the University of North Dakota women's hockey team was reminded that there's still some work to do.

Fourth-ranked Boston University handed the Sioux a 6-2 loss Sunday afternoon at Ralph Engelstad Arena in a game where the difference was three shorthanded goals by the Terriers - one of which went into an empty-net to seal the game and a series split.

The Lamoureux twins, who dominated UND's 5-4 victory on Saturday, connected for a goal in the third period. But Sunday was Boston University's turn to showcase its superstars.

Jenn Wakefield, a former national player of the year finalist, scored twice and added two assists, while Canadian Olympic hero Marie-Philip Poulin added a pair of goals and an assist of her own.
